Dr. Fixler graduated Cum Laude from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from The University of Queensland Faculty of Medicine—Ochsner Clinical School, where he studied for two years in Brisbane, Queensland in Australia, and two years at Ochsner Clinical School in New Orleans. He completed his residency program in the Department of Internal Medicine at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center—New Orleans.
Dr. Fixler is board certified in internal medicine and is a member of AmeriCorps Alums, Louisiana State Medical Society, American Board of Artificial Intelligence in Medicine, American Medical Informatics Association, and American College of Physicians.
